Project Overview
The APEX Flux is a custom-engineered performance concept defined by its high-contrast energy. The silhouette features a bespoke gradient AeroKnit upper that transitions from solar orange to electric lime, creating a permanent sense of motion. A sculpted, high-stack midsole is reinforced by a custom-molded sapphire stability wing, providing a unique architectural anchor. This one-of-a-kind design explores the intersection of elite athletic functionality and a bold, avant-garde aesthetic.
Project Overview
The APEX Flux was born from a desire to create a custom silhouette that feels both grounded and weightless. The design narrative centers on "Artisanal Velocity"—the idea that high-performance gear can be crafted with the intentionality of a digital art piece. The custom "Solar Neon" palette is a deliberate departure from off-the-shelf colorways, utilizing a seamless transition to mimic light trails at high speeds. The translucent blue "Blade" was integrated as a structural centerpiece, offering a glass-like contrast to the organic, ribbed textures of the knit. Every curve of this custom build was considered to ensure the shoe looks as dynamic in a static display as it does in full stride.
